It is situated about 5 Km west from Estepona town and about 2.5 KM from the sea. It is one of four large villas that stand alone on the grounds of the “Estepona Golf and country club”. Due to its front-line golf position, the villa has wonderful views across the golf course to the sea. The furnishing and fixtures of the villa are modern and of a very high standard. The lounge has a generous and sumptuous leather corner sofa from where you have views across the pool towards the sea. There is an indoor water feature in the lounge. Extra comfy seating is also provided in the television area with bar and conservatory, letting in light from both sides. It offers British Sky TV and a DVD player. The dining area is situated off the TV lounge. There is a wood burning fire which is available for use during the winter months. Upstairs you will find large sun terraces, again with good views over the golf courses. It can be accessed from the main bedroom, but also via a spiral staircase from the garden area. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a bathroom with jacuzzi and separate shower. The second bedroom upstairs has access to a private terrace. Downstairs you will find a third bathroom, which is decorated in Thai style with wooden beams. The fourth bedroom has access to the pool are and an en-suite bathroom, which can also be used as a guest toilet. Outside there is a good sized heated pool (4x9 metres). The owner is currently turning the pond into a Japanese garden area. The well maintained gardens have a good selection of Mediterranean plants with a lawn stretching around the side of the villa. There is a generous amount of parking in front of the villa. Altogether, a good quality villa and in our opinion a great holiday place!Estepona on Costa del Sol lies 74 km west of Malaga airport at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountains. Estepona has a much more authentic atmosphere with typical Andalusian whitewashed houses and balconies decorated with flowers. The houses are whitewashed and iron gates painted every year to maintain the feeling of a cared for town. In the old part of the town the streets are still cobbled whilst along the seafront runs a very pretty promenade lined wih palm trees and flowers. Some typical Spanish beach bars are to be found along this promenade. All the usual beach and water activities are available such as jet-skiing, parasailing, diving and pedalos. If you have your own transport and want to find some quieter beaches with golden sand these can be found anywhere beyond Tarifa. Estepona is a perfect place for families and people looking for a quiet area away from the busy nightlife. There are many traditional tapas bars around Plaza Las Flores and some excellent restaurants specialising in seafood and fish dishes such as sardines on the spit (espeto de sardinas). There is plenty to do in and around Estepona. For the early risers the fish market at the harbour is an interesting sight. A large variety of fish are auctioned off but you must be there by 6am as it tends to be finished by 7am. The bull ring, on the outskirts of the town, has four museums in it one of which has an interesting collection of bullfighting memorabilia. The right place if you want a holiday home in Spain, also if you want to make money by renting it out when you are not using it.
