El Cortijo Alfacara is a property located in the municipality of Benadalid (Malaga), in the Serrania de Ronda, near the railway station Cortes de la Frontera. It consists of two farms covering an area of around 76 hectares. The property has an area with trees, carob, olive and cherries, figs, etc. There is a well that provides water for consumption and irrigation of gardens. There is an area of cereals, and an area dedicated to the farming of sheep, horses, chickens, geese and turkeys. Current living accommodation comprises of a wooden house with 2 bedrooms, with solar panels and wind turbines, hot water, large lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a home in ruins, with building permit for reconstruction. There are four outbuildings for animals and storage of alpacas. There are all kinds of machinery for agricultural and cattle, tractors, baler, trailers, etc. A nursery area supplies new plants to repopulate our own plantations with carob, oak, etc. The carob plantation has been planted.
